Dr. Alireza Khazaeizadeh is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience caring for adults and seniors. His background includes Urgent Care, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine, making him especially well suited to the healthcare needs of the Laguna Woods community.
About Dr. K
Dr. K earned his medical degree at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and completed his Internal Medicine training in a Yale-affiliated residency program in Connecticut, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and the VA West Haven Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He has also served as an Associate Professor of Medicine, teaching future physicians physiology, pharmacology and biochemistry, and twice received a Golden Apple Award for his teaching. He contributed to the First Aid for the USMLE and Underground Clinical Vignettes study series that many medical students use to prepare for their licensing exams, and won American College of Physicians awards for his clinical case presentations in 2005 and 2006.
Locally, he is affiliated with MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, a few minutes from the clinic.
