Common questions

How soon do I need to come in?
As soon as you can. A cut is easier to close cleanly in the first few hours, and leaving it longer raises the chance of infection.
Do you give the tetanus shot?
Yes. Tetanus is the vaccine we carry, and we can give it during the same visit. It is $70 and up on top of the visit.
Can you take the stitches out as well?
Yes, come back to either clinic and we will remove them.
What should I do before I get here?
Press firmly on it with a clean cloth and keep it raised if you can. Do not dig around in the wound.

Go to the emergency room instead if
the bleeding will not stop after ten minutes of firm pressure, the cut is deep and gaping, it is on the face near the eye, you cannot move the part below it, or it came from a serious crash or an animal bite to the face. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
