In-person evaluation

Weight management in West Anaheim and Laguna Woods

A proper in-person look at your health, with the testing we have on site, and a plan you can actually follow.

A doctor and patient reviewing a weight management plan on a tabletA healthy plate of vegetables and fish beside running shoes and a water bottle

How we approach it

No shortcuts and no promises. A doctor, an examination and real numbers.

Seen in person

You come into the clinic and a doctor examines you. This is not done over the internet.

A doctor, not an online form

Real numbers

Blood glucose and other on-site testing, so the plan is built on your actual results.

Built on your results, not averages

A plan for you

We talk through food, movement and habits, and what is realistic for your situation.

Specific, and actually doable

Unhurried, and honest.

1

Your history

What you have tried, what got in the way, and anything else going on with your health.

2

The basics

Weight, blood pressure and the measurements that matter.

3

Testing if useful

On-site testing where it would change the plan.

4

Your plan

Something specific and achievable, and a date to come back and review it.

Common questions

Do I have to come into the clinic?
Yes. This needs an in-person evaluation by a doctor, including an examination and the measurements that go with it.
How long does it take to see a change?
That depends entirely on you and your starting point, and anyone who tells you a number without meeting you is guessing. We will be straight with you about what is realistic.
Will you do blood work?
We can run on-site testing such as blood glucose where it helps shape the plan. The doctor decides with you.
Does insurance cover it?
It depends on your plan. Call the number on your insurance card to check, or ask our front desk.

Go to the emergency room instead if
chest pain, breathlessness at rest, fainting, or sudden severe swelling in one leg are not things to raise at a routine visit. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
