Common questions

Can you drain a boil or an abscess?
Yes. Incision and drainage is done here in the clinic. It is $100 and up on top of the visit.
Can you take out a splinter or something stuck in the skin?
Yes, foreign body removal is one of the procedures we do here.
What about a burn?
We do burn care here for minor burns. For a large burn, or a burn to the face, hands or across a joint, go to the emergency room.
When should I worry about a rash?
If it spreads quickly, if you have a fever with it, if it blisters, or if there is a red streak running away from it. Those are same-day reasons to come in.

Go to the emergency room instead if
a rash spreads very fast, your face, lips or tongue swell, you have trouble breathing, you have a large burn, or you feel faint with a spreading infection. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
