Same-day testing

Cold, flu and COVID-19 care in West Anaheim and Laguna Woods

The symptoms overlap. Testing is how you tell them apart, and we do it here during your visit.

Common questions

Can you test for COVID and flu in the same visit?
Yes. The symptoms overlap, so testing for more than one is often the only way to know. The doctor will decide which tests fit what you describe.
How soon do I get the result?
These are rapid tests, run here in the clinic, and we go through the result with you during the same visit.
Should I come in or wait it out?
Come in if your fever will not come down, if you are getting worse after a few days, if you cannot keep fluids down, or if a child will not drink. If you are short of breath or your chest hurts, call 911 instead.
Do you give the flu shot?
No. We give the tetanus vaccine only. For a flu shot, your pharmacy or your regular doctor can help.

Go to the emergency room instead if
you are short of breath, your chest hurts, your lips look blue or grey, you cannot stay awake, or a child is struggling to breathe. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
